About Submarinos
A Little Family History
Submarinos Pizzeria is the latest in a long-standing tradition of family-run businesses, which began in the Buffalo area of upstate New York. Our history starts at Gino’s Pizzeria in Cheektowaga and Via Veneto Pizzeria near the University of Buffalo over 50 years ago. This history solidified our passion for providing quality food and an experience unparalleled to other restaurants. Today, the tradition continues with Marc Olsen, the grandson of Charlie (Gino) and Rosalie Amato. Fueled by his Italian heritage and passion for creating incredible Italian food, Marc decided to pursue his dream of bringing authentic New York, Italian flair to Phoenix. It is our pleasure to serve you! We hope you enjoy your experience with Submarinos Pizzeria!
